How growth turns into success

How growth turns into success

We've talk about growth, but how does that turn into success? This is what we are going to talk about this article, while we give you some tips on what to do.

Commit to a schedule
As we always say in our previous articles, content is king, and scheduling it is the key. Ideally, you should publish content every week, even multiple times a week, but if that is not possible for you due to your available time, or actually because your content takes time to produce, you can create a schedule that includes steps you need to create for every video.

Develop a sustainable video production
Sustainable means that you should be able to make things happen every day, and that when you think about creating videos for a topic, that topic alone will give you ideas for many videos. You also have to think about the equipment as well, if you are going to rent it, can you keep up with the rent? Or maybe the set, do you need to go somewhere to record the videos, and can that be done regularly without affecting your expenses so you can sustain the project? Answering these questions early is a must. Don't hold on just to one video, or to the next video, make a plan for the long term.

Hook your audience in the first few seconds
Your videos should always start with a hook, as depending on what they see in the first few second, they may decide to give you a chance or leave the video. Offer them something that will keep them interested in watching the video until the end.

Intros and credits should be short
It's nice to have these on your videos, but don't make them too long. You may get away with a 5 second intro, but if you push it further and it becomes 1/3 of your video, then it's time to make a change or shorten them out. Remember, your audience is looking forward to your content, not the intro.

End screens should be used
These should be used to promote your channel, your videos, or your website. When a viewer reaches the end of your video, you will want him to continue engaging with your brand, ideally with your channel videos as audience retention is a very important metric for YouTube. By keeping them on YouTube you will also grow your watch time and views. You can create interesting end screens, even make a verbal call to attention to your other videos that are on display in your end screens.

Leave out distraction in your videos
If you are someone that takes 30 minutes to record 5 minutes of video because you're not focusing on what you are doing and you have to record several takes until you get it right, or you digress away from the topic of the video easily, try to focus on it. This will optimize your time and make sure that you are delivering the content you want to deliver to the audience. Also, if your video includes something in the background that will lead your audiences attention away from you and into something else, your message will likely be lost, and the perception of the viewer regarding the value your provide may be lower.

Design good quality visuals
Always make sure to create great quality content, and your thumbnails are also something you definitely have to take care of, as those represent your first hook in getting the viewers to watch your content. Make them interesting and make sure they also have a clear message about the contents they will find if they click on it. Remember that creating misleading content will have the opposite effect on your channel's growth.

Create longer videos
Longer videos will help you grow your watch time and allow you to insert more ads. Just make sure to provide value throughout the video.
