Why not just use timestamps or chapters on YouTube?

Good question. First, not all videos have chapters, but with Heartbeat, you can easily create your favorite moments, just press the H key, it’s that simple. 

If there are timestamps on a video description or comments, Heartbeat will automatically show those to you, but if you only use the timestamps you still have the inconvenience of scrolling down to select the next timestamp you want to watch. With Moments, no need for that, you can jump to any timestamp in a heartbeat ;)

We do encourage you to add basic information to your moments so it’s easier for you to find them later, and also to add more context for the community.

How do I find all moments created by the Heartbeat community?

How do I find the moments I created on Heartbeat?

There are several ways, here are 3 options:

Option 1:

1. If you have pinned the extension, click the Heart icon, and if not, click the extensions icon on the chrome browser window and then select Heartbeat.
   

Option 2:

1. Go to https://heartbeat.love/
   
   

2. Click “My Heartbeat” on the left menu.
   

Option 3:

1. Go to a video you previously created Moments for.
   
   

2. If you have pinned the extension, click the Heart icon, and if not, click the extensions icon on the chrome browser window and then select Heartbeat.
   
   
   

3. You will see a list of all the moments for that video
   

How do I edit my moments?

1. Go to https://heartbeat.love/ and click the “My Heartbeat” menu on the left.
   
   
   

2. Click one of the moments you created and then Click the edit icon for the moment you want to edit.
   
   
   

3. These are all optional, but the more data you fill in, the easier it will get for you to find the moments you are looking for, and will also help the community find those moments. You can fill out the title, description, tags and playlist. Once you are done, click “Save”.
   
   
   

What does the community aspect look like on Heartbeat Moments?

Heartbeat Moments is constantly growing its features, based on community feedback. 

Once you go to https://heartbeat.love/ you will see the new,  top, and trending moments. If you like a particular video,
you can click the icon of the user, under the video thumbnail.

Then if you like the moments that the user creates, you can click the follow button, on the right side of the page.

How do I find more moments that I like?

1. Go to https://heartbeat.love/
   
   

2. Find a Moment that you like
   
   

3. At the right of the video, click the Heart next to the timestamp of the moment you like.
   
   

4. Go back, click the icon of the user, under the video thumbnail.

5. You can browse the user videos and moments. If you like his moments you can click the follow button, on the right side of the page.

6. You can also check who the user is “following”, and see if those users have more moments you may be interested in.
   

How can I edit my Heartbeat profile?

Let’s check 2 options:

Option 1:

1. Go to https://heartbeat.love/
   
   

2. Click “My Heartbeat” on the left menu.
   
   
   

3. At the right side of the page, click “Edit heartbeat”
   
   
   

4. There you can change your avatar, name, handle and description.
   
   
   

Option 2:

2. Click “Edit Profile”.
