How can I make money on Heartbeat?
Heartbeat pays you in four ways:
1. CPM (more views = more money)
2. WPM (more watch time = more money)
3. QPM (more quality content = more money, even if it gets no views)
4. Ads (55% of all ad revenue is paid to the creator, just as YouTube does) **Upcoming**
YouTube does not pay for quality if it gets no views, Heartbeat does. In fact, currently most of our payouts are based on rewarding quality content. What is quality content? See https://h.ki/@georgevanous/favorites this is one example of quality content: carefully chosen moments with relevant titles that are meaningful to at least the creator, not random content.

How are Moments created? If you would like to see it in action, watch on this link on YouTube while our CEO George do a demo on how you can use it. If you want a step by step in writing, see below:

1. Add the chrome extension on https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/heartbeat-moments/gfjjapbgheaekhcaenpgiokcdhpnbfmk



















































2. After installing the chrome extension, go to www.youtube.com and click the HEART ICON to log in.

3. On the pop up window, click SIGN IN via your Google account.


You will be routed to the Heartbeat homepage platform.


4. Go to YouTube and choose a video that you would like to watch. PRESS H on your keyboard to save the moment. On the upper right corner of the page, you will see a prompt that the moment has been saved.


5. Click the Heart and it will show you the list of moments you saved.


6. Now you can edit the title of your moments, a phrase that you can easily remember your favourite moments. We do encourage you to add basic information to your moments so it’s easier for you to find them later, and also to add more context for the community. For example: "Epic airplane drop!"


Where does Heartbeat get money from to pay its partners?

Just like YouTube, Heartbeat pays 55% of all revenue generated around your content on Heartbeat to you, the creator. But Heartbeat also pays contributors from its 45% platform fee (what YouTube never does) so that everybody gets paid on Heartbeat, not just the creators, but also the people who help improve content like fixing spelling mistakes or adding relevant moments to articles. Can we make Heartbeats on behalf of others and have any earnings from it sent to them?
Yes, we can make Heartbeats on behalf of others but they will not earn any money unless they add moments and promote them to their audience to watch on Heartbeat.
Just creating a Heartbeat does not help it make money. Views and watch time make money on Heartbeat.
And later, when we support ads, that will also make additional money for Heartbeat partners.
So, everyone needs to create their own Heartbeat and use it!
Another way to earn money is to use other people's videos. Heartbeat pays everybody, including the YouTuber whose video you created moments for, as a contributor.
Heartbeat will open an account automatically for any YouTuber whose videos appear on Heartbeat, just as Heartbeat will pay contributors who fix a spelling mistake or improve someone else's work.
Once a YouTuber has at least $0.01 from these contributor earnings, he can sign in and withdraw it anytime.

  2. Monetisation policy has an imperative of originality
  3. This means content must be unique across heartbeats. Do not copy and paste the same content, create unique content on each Heartbeat.
