What is Freedom! Bank Transfer?

Freedom! Bank Transfer, as the name suggests, is Freedom's own payment method that offers the lowest USD to USD transfer fees on payments above $50 and the best foreign exchange rates, so you can receive the most, directly in your bank account.

 

What currencies are supported by this payment method?

Currently we have support for the currencies below, but we are looking into adding more in the future.

  • AUD (Australian Dollar)

  • GBP (British Pound)

  • CAD (Canadian dollar)

  • EUR (Euro)

  • JPY (Japanese Yen)

  • NZD (New Zealand Dollar)

  • NOK (Norwegian krone)

  • SEK (Swedish krona)

  • CHF (Swiss franc)

  • USD (United States Dollar)

Is there a threshold for payments?

Yes. There is a $50 minimum payment threshold for Freedom! Bank Transfer payments.

 

Are there any fees associated with Freedom! Bank Transfer payments?

For amounts above the threshold, and assuming the country and currency is listed and supported, here are some fee examples:

  • USD in US - 2 USD

  • USD in any other country - 10 USD

  • Non native currency in any country - 10 USD

  • Native currency in any country - 0 USD (ex: TWD in TW, HKD in HK, RMB in CN)

What savings can I expect from using Freedom! Bank Transfer?

We can't provide an exact savings as the actual / real-time fees, for any payment method, are only displayed immediately before the payment is processed. However, payments sent to non-USD accounts usually provide around 2% savings on the transaction fees. 

 

How can I select Freedom! Bank Transfer as may payment method?

Just follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Freedom! account at https://www.freedom.tm

  2. At the top right side of the page, click your avatar.

  3. Click the account settings icon.


  4. Select the “Payment Setup” tab, click the three dots icon and select “Change”.


  5. Insert the verification number sent to your email.

  1. From the list of options, select Freedom! Bank Transfer.


  2. You will be asked to fill out your details. Fill out step one and click the "Next" button.


For step 2 make sure that you input only number and letters, no special characters. Also make sure to fill out all the information to avoid failed payments.

After I add my bank account details, will the service be automatically enabled?
No, it takes 2 to 3 business days for the information to be verified. Please don’t make any changes until the information is verified, or else the process will be restarted.
