What is YouTube Music?
YouTube Music is a music streaming service made available by YouTube on May 22, 2018, that includes thousands of playlists and artist radio, remixes, live performances, covers, music videos, and the official versions of millions of songs, arranged in a simple and personalized way.
One of the great features of YouTube Music is that even if you can't actually name the song you are trying to find, the powerful search engine may find what you are looking for if you use a portion of the lyrics. YouTube Music also provides recommendations based on your you listening history, location and even what you're doing.
The service is available through a mobile app and also as desktop player, in two versions, the ad-supported, which if free, or the YouTube Music Premium, which has a paid membership that gives you background listening, downloads and an ad-free experience for $9.99 a month. If you already have a membership for YouTube Premium, you get both services for $11.99.
