YouTube has made it easy to go live

To make it easier for creators to go live, YouTube has removed some steps from the process. Now, if you are using a computer, to initiate a live stream is as easy as going to youtube.com/webcam and click on "Go live". It's that simple, no additional software or extra set up needed.

This feature is currently available only on Chrome, but will reach other browsers soon.

If you are using a phone, YouTube got you covered as well, as in the coming months, you will be able to start a live stream directly from the camera app, on a number of devices from Asus, LG, Samsung and more. This feature will be coming to more device manufacturers during this year through the new YouTube Mobile Live deep link.

If you a new to livestreams or you are not quite sure what to do next, get some inspiration from other creators in the YouTube Live channel.
