In a recent post, YouTube announced a few updates to its Live Streaming service. This update includes the Live Chat replays, automatic English live captions, geotagging, and the option to use IFTTT (If This, Then That).
With the Live Chat replays, you can now follow the conversations even after a live stream has ended, just as they appeared live.

Although YouTube has offered automatic captions for years, now they are also available on live videos, for English language, using YouTube's automatic speech recognition (LASR) technology. This will roll out in the coming weeks.

For both live streams and video uploads, creators can now add a location tag. By clicking in a tag, users will easily find other videos with the same location.

With IFTTT (If This, Then That) YouTube gives creators over 600 internet-connected services and devices (like lights, pet feeders and confetti cannons!) that can be connected to Super Chat.
