Who are catch-up payments for?
Catch-up payments are for those who:
- Had their payment(s) denied by PayPal (limitations, or other PayPal related issues).
- Did not add a PayPal or an alternative payment method to their dashboard account for a certain time (forgot to do so, or for personal reasons).
How do I know if I have a pending catch-up payment?
Go to your Freedom! dashboard and click in the revenue menu. At the right you will see the Catch-up information. If there is catch-up to be paid it will show there and let you know what that catch-up is for (channel earnings, recruiter earnings...)
How do I request a catch-up payment?
When you are in the Freedom! dashboard revenue menu, if there are any catch-up payments to be made, you will see the "Request catch-up" button. Click on it to make your request.
When are catch-up payments sent?
During each catch-up round, we will be paying all of the months Freedom! owes you your earnings. This could be multiple months constructively, or in an inconsistent order.
Example: if you forget to add your PayPal to the dashboard in January, but should receive November's earnings, then a catch-up payments will be done in February aside December's regular payment (as per our payment schedule). Basically, this means a catch-up payment will be done a month after the regular payment due to PayPal's 30 day "not claimed" refund policy.
See George's announcement, and information video regarding catch-up payments.
For those who (still) have not added their PayPal to the dashboard, please refer to this FAQ to learn how to add your PayPal account to the dashboard.
If you have any questions on how catch-up payments work, feel free to create a ticket with the ticket type Payment Inquiry. We will get back to you as soon as possible, regardless of the topic you choose.
