If you are familiar with Patreon, you have an idea of how Drip works. Drip allows content creators to request monetary contributions from their fans and followers, creating another revenue stream, and in return, backers can receive various perks.
The perks can vary, depending if the contributors joined in the campaign during the early stages or at a later time. Early contributors will receive the "founding member" status as an additional benefit.
Currently, creators are being added to Drip using an invite-only process, but it's expected to be opened up more broadly in the future.
According to Kickstarter, "Creators will be able to export their data and content, and we’ll even help creators securely transfer subscription and payments information to other subscription platforms".
